Simulador de Safari no iPad

O 9to5mac.com colocou no YouTube um vídeo do Safari a funcionar no simulador de iPad. O browser parece funcionar bastante bem, em especial ao nível da velocidade, embora eu preferisse algumas outras escolhas estéticas, nomeadamente na cor de base dos contextual menus. Fica aqui uma versão desse vídeo:

O iBicharoco (a.k.a. iPad)

Infelizmente não tenho tempo para vos deixar aqui um texto longo sobre o que penso do iPad. Tenho pena porque cada vez me convenço mais que, mesmo com óbvios defeitos, o iPad vai ser uma (boa) bomba. Contudo, apesar de não ter tempo para grande conversa, posso deixar algumas palavrinhas.

Antes de mais, podem ouvir o que eu tinha ontem para dizer sobre o iPad no último TriploExpresso (i.e. sentada à mesa de café, como de habitual, com o David e com o Phil).

Depois, digo-vos ainda que existem 3 opiniões a não perder escritas. Aconselho-as pelo registo da experiência — pelo menos dois deles (senão os três) já brincaram com o “iBicharoco” (muito melhor que *iPad*, convenhamos) — mas também porque sigo regularmente estes três bloguistas/jornalistas que, até agora, nunca me desiludiram nas suas avaliações.

David Pogue:

Today Apple finally unveiled its tablet computer, the iPad. Thus concludes Phase 1 of the standard Apple new-category roll-out: months of feverish speculation and hype online, without any official indication by Apple that the product even exists.

Now Phase 2 can begin: the bashing by the bloggers who’ve never even tried it: “No physical keyboard!” “No removable battery!” “Way too expensive!” “Doesn’t multitask!” “No memory-card slot!”

That will last until the iPad actually goes on sale in April. Then, if history is any guide, Phase 3 will begin: positive reviews, people lining up to buy the thing, and the mysterious disappearance of the basher-bloggers.

Resumindo e concluindo: apesar de reservar a minha opinião final para quando usar, de facto, um iBicharoco (espero que daqui a 2-3 meses), confesso que estou ansiosa por o fazer.
