Morreu Miriam Makeba, também conhecida como Mama Afrika. Morreu a fazer o que gostava — a cantar, num concerto de apoio a Roberto Saviano (que está ameaçado de morte pela Camorra italiana).

E lá tive oportunidade de comprar no iTunes sem DRM. Foi através do iTunes Plus e paguei 1.29 euros pelo “Dialectos da Ternura” dos Da Weasel (EMI). Um pouco mais caro, mas livre e com melhor bitrate (256).

É caso para dizer:

Many of the songs you purchase from the iTunes Store are protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM). These protected purchases can be:

Played on up to five computers

Synced with your iPod

Synced with or streamed to your Apple TV

Burned to audio CDs or DVDs (you can burn a song an unlimited number of times, and as part of a playlist up to seven times)

The iTunes Store also offers songs without DRM protection, from participating record labels. These DRM-free songs, called “iTunes Plus,” have no usage restrictions and feature higher-quality encoding.
